Services

With our extensive machine shop capabilities Metal Surgery is able to offer a complete in-house engineering facility for all machining and casting repairs as well as pump and valve refurbishment of all sizes and descriptions. We can also inspect and certify steam boilers for repair and overhaul.

Other services include TIG welding for aluminium and other non-ferWelding-smallrous materials and intricate fabrications to your own requirement and design. This is particularly valuable when you can’t source original spares easily

Similarly, the workshop is able to offer Centre Lathe Capacity up to 5.8 metres BC, including boring, milling and slotting capabilities.

We believe that you won’t find our range of facilities and expertise in any other workshop in Cornwall

Local businesses have used the skills and facilities we have been able to offer for many years and we are proud to be an an important part of their repair and maintainance programs.

Metal Surgery is also unique in that we offer our own process for repairing fractured castings which restores lost strength and results in a pressure tight joint.

Our modern factory is conveniently located on the Kernick Industrial Estate in Penryn, near Falmouth and has good road and rail links as well as being close to the port of Falmouth.

Part of the Factory is configured as a flexible ‘bespoke’ fabrication and production line facility which can deal with small to medium production runs for our customers and has a 10 ton travelling hoist which enables construction of large and heavy plant and equipment.
